About The Position

Responsible for defining clinical priorities within neurology and neurosurgery, recruitment of appropriate physician staff, clinical oversight of EEG, EMG, Stroke Unit, research and other neuroscience initiatives to be developed within WellSpan Health. Administers and directs the activities of assigned personnel. Provides medical care to patients. Reviews the quality, adequacy and appropriateness of services within the department. We are currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Neurologist to join our team in York, PA.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire.
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Medicine upon hire.
  • Completion of a Neurology residency upon hire.
  • Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital upon hire.
