Specialty: Neurohospitalist Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: San Antonio, TX Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Apr 10, 2026 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Shift Schedule: TBD; 15 shifts per month - Rotates 7 -8 days w/ other neurohospitalist Call Schedule: Nights & 24 -hr calls - Split for the month Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 mins Call Coverage: Telestroke call & General Neurology (non stroke/tpa services) Patient Volume: 15 per day - 4 -5 per day Neurology consults; 4 -5 per day Telestroke. Support Staff: 1 NP/PA Required Procedures: EEG reading and interpretation & continuous EEG Comfort with acute stroke management. Equipment: EEG and continuous EEG Comprehensive Stroke Center (DNV) EMR: Cerner Temporary Privileges available: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
