Neurohospitalist- PRN- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Piedmont Henry
About The Position
Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Neurohospitalist team at Piedmont Henry Hospital. This is a PRN position working variable shifts as needed. Responsibilities · Follow up with current general neurology and stroke patients. · Triage new patients prior to being seen by doctor. · Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patient’s medical record. · Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care. · Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings. · Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Requirements
- Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of advanced practice provider experience with a high degree of clinical judgment.
