Neurofeedback Technician
About The Position

Join our innovative team as a Neurofeedback Technician , where you’ll play a pivotal role in utilizing cutting-edge technology to understand and improve brain function. Calo Programs is the first residential treatment center in Lake Ozark, Missouri focused on adopted preteens and teens. The program implements a true relational-based treatment approach to create change from the inside out – heart first and behavior second. Uniquely focused and well-equipped to treat students and families impacted by trauma occurring in developmental periods, Calo Programs helps students develop a healthy sense of self, and often address attachment issues.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must pass a state and federal background check
- Must pass a physical and drug screen
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- A BS in Psychology from a regionally accredited university or college in the US is required for this role.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in case management or certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Responsibilities
- Administer quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG), record brainwave activity, and process raw data using specialized software.
- Create detailed reports, collaborate with the family system, and present brain mapping results in a clear, relatable way for parents.
- Manage and prioritize scheduling to ensure students are seen consistently for treatment sessions.
- Compare treatment data over time to evaluate progress and recommend protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in treatment planning meetings.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and coordinate with manufacturers for solutions.
- Contribute to ongoing research projects focused on advancing neurofeedback practices.
