About The Position

This role is responsible for the preparation and performance of various neurodiagnostics modalities as well as associated paperwork supporting those functions. Responsible for training of department personnel regarding modalities performed. Modalities will be performed on patients of all ages. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Requirements

• Clinical experience in a Neurodiagnostic department minimum required within 6 months.
• American Board of Registry for Electroneurodiagnostics Technology (ABRET) Registry by American Board (ABRET) must be obtained within 2 years from date of hire.
• Successful completion of an accredited School of Electoneurodiagnostics Technology (EEG) program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card required.

Nice To Haves

• Successful completion of an accredited School of Electoneurodiagnostics Technology (EEG) program preferred.
• 1 year of experience in performance of Neurodiagnostic procedures preferred.
