About The Position
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I is responsible for monitoring and recording neurodiagnostic patients, checking the integrity of the electrodes, and communicating with the physician and nurse of changes in patient status.
Requirements
- None required.
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
- Ability to effectively communicate pertinent clinical data accurately and consistently with the physician team and leadership.
- Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations, effectively solve complex patient care and organizational problems, role model positive and professional behavior.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must be board eligible to take Registered EEG Technologist.
- Registered EEG Tech must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of pediatric health care experience.
- Associate degree.
- Bilingual in English/ Spanish.
