As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech), you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests at Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs. Your primary duties will involve: The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I can perform test set up, electrode application, and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties. Communication skills are essential for this position.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS issued from the American Heart Association
- 6 months experience working in patient care environment, required.
Nice To Haves
- Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
