Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma required.
Minimum of 1 year neurology clinical and technical experience required.
Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technology.
Familiarity with a variety of neurological testing procedures, such as evoked potentials and intraoperative monitoring.
1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a neurology or neurodiagnostic department.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and report test results.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine neurological tests and assessments, such as electroencephalograms (EEGs) Autonomic Function Testing (Tilt Table) & Neuropsyche screenings.
Prepare patients for neurological procedures, explain the process and answer any questions they may have pre-visit, during the visit and post visit.
Record and report test results accurately and promptly.
Assist with the maintenance and calibration of neurological equipment.
Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information.
Collaborate with the neurology team, including physicians and advanced practitioners, to provide the best possible patient care.
Continuously stay current with the latest advancements in neurological technology and techniques.
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to rooming patients, booking appointments and in basket management.
