Requirements

Eligible to take ABRET EEG board exam, Part I.
Current BCLS required through AHA or ARC required.
Graduate of an accredited Electro neurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training.
Some college-level work is preferable.
1-year minimum experience as an EEG Tech (may include time spent in training)

Responsibilities

Performs EEGs in the laboratory and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the intensive care units.
Maintains expert technical skills while following ABRET standards.
Provides excellent patient experience with quality diagnostic results.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
