Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served North County's coastal communities since 1978. Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas' campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. We're home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit. This is a Casual Status/Per Diem position located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The shift starts at 06:45- 1515 M-F .There is Call on the weekends 08-1600. This position will be in the call rotation and cover, vacation, sick and Holiday. Based on their experience orientation training is Part time to Full time. This role is mainly weekend standby coverage 1 weekend per month, as well as vacation and holiday coverage. Why join Scripps Health? Performs neurodiagnostic procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists. May assist with long term monitoring under guidance and/or supervision of Long Term Monitoring Tech and/or Lead Monitoring tech. Responsible for patient preparation, equipment transportation, entering patient charges, and maintaining supply inventory. #LI-EE1

  • Performs neurodiagnostic procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists.
  • May assist with long term monitoring under guidance and/or supervision of Long Term Monitoring Tech and/or Lead Monitoring tech.
  • Responsible for patient preparation, equipment transportation, entering patient charges, and maintaining supply inventory.
  • AA through Neurodiagnostic program or proof of CEUs
  • 6 months of experience (can be internship)
  • BLS
  • Registration via ABRET for EEG
  • 2 years of experience
