About The Position

Neurodiagnostic Tech - Casual status -La Jolla Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: AA through Neurodiagnostic program or proof of CEUs 6 months of experience (can be internship) Required Certification/Registration: BLS Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: Registration via ABRET for EEG 2 years of experience This is a Casual status position also known as Per Diem with a 8 hour shift that starts at 7\:30 am. The location is Torrey Pines La Jolla but you may float to Oceanside, Rancho Bernardo, and another clinic in La Jolla. There is no Call, weekends or holidays. Training will be full time the first week, then part time the following week. The minimum requirement for casual status is 2-3 days per month. Why join Scripps Health? The Neurodiagnostic Tech p erforms neurodiagnostic procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists. They may assist with long term monitoring under guidance and/or supervision of Long Term Monitoring Tech and/or Lead Monitoring tech. Responsible for patient preparation, equipment transportation, entering patient charges, and maintaining supply inventory. #LI-EE1

Requirements

  • AA through Neurodiagnostic program or proof of CEUs
  • 6 months of experience (can be internship)
  • BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Registration via ABRET for EEG
  • 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs neurodiagnostic procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists.
