The Neurodiagnostic Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision of Neurodiagnostic testing / monitoring, program advancement, personnel management, training, quality assessment and assurance. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a patient care plan. Shows professional responsibility and accountability for own practice and supports the department’s philosophy of care. Requirements

  • Education Required – Either an Associate’s degree or higher in health care or related field from an accredited college or university or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic (NDT) Program.
  • Work Experience Required – Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing Neurodiagnostic procedures.
  • Certifications Required – Registered through the Neurodiagnostic credentialing board, ABRET and in addition holds one of the following credentials in the Neurodiagnostic services overseen, which can include but not limited to R. EEG T., EP T., CLTM, R. NCS. T., CNIM.
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability).
  • Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.
  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years’ experience performing Neurodiagnostic procedures in a patient care environment with 1 year supervisory / leadership experience.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification in clinical area

  • Other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
