About The Position

90% to 100% FTE. 36/40 hours per week. All shifts, Monday – Friday with rotating
weekends and holidays. No mandatory shift changes and no call. You may be
eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). Relocation
assistance may be available for qualified applicants. You will work at
University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational
needs of the department.

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT,
Registered Sleep Tech) to:

Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, anlayze and
prepare descriptive report following procedure.
Complete daily laboratory operations with the main emphasis on high quality
patient related procedures which adhere to guidelines and technical
standards.
Interact patients and families regarding procedural direction and
information, developing patient rapport and confidence.
Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain
optimal recording, adapting procedure to particular clinical circumstance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program Required
• Four (4) years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation from an electroneurodiagnostic tech program in addition to the experience below.
• 1 year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Required
• Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
