About The Position

90% to 100% FTE. 36/40 hours per week. All shifts, Monday – Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. No mandatory shift changes and no call. You may be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Work Schedule : Day: 8-hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00AM and 4:30PM Evening: 8-hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 3:00PM and 11:30PM Night: 8/10/12-hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00PM and 7:30AM Pay : This position may be eligible for a $10,000,00 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE) Additional components of compensation may include: Evening and night shift differential Weekend differential Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech I (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) to: Conduct basic electroencephalograms and evoked potentials as well as observe, learn and assist with more complex electroneurodiagnostic testing. Scan through EEG data and create samples that will be saved for future reference. May perform diagnostic testing procedures like, electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS), long-term monitoring for epilepsy (LTM), and intensive care unit and continuous EEG monitoring (ICU/EEG) At UW Health, you will have: An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance. Requirements

  • Eligibility for graduation within the next three months from an approved school of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology Required
  • Two years combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist or other clinical certification with similar patient care experience Required
  • Five years combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Seizure Monitor Technician or performing similar work Required
  • CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
