We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Restorative Nursing Aide/Rehabilitation Technician to join our interdisciplinary team. This is a hybrid position which promotes a dynamic role involving restorative nursing and rehabilitation technician responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Current NJ Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license preferred
• Experience in restorative care or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative care activities, including range of motion exercises, ambulation, and positioning
• Support patients in maintaining functional abilities and maximizing independence
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Observe and report patient progress or changes in condition
• Provide high-quality personalized care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Safely transport patients in accordance with daily therapy schedules
• Prepare, clean, and maintain therapy equipment to meet operational and hygiene standards
• Assist therapists and residents during sessions, helping with ambulation, exercises, and positioning
• Accurately manage both paper and digital documentation; upload to EMRs (PCC, Net Health, Innova Health)
• Run and assist with reports and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)
• Restock therapy supplies daily (e.g., linens, gloves, disinfectant)
• Provide clerical support, such as distributing and updating therapy schedules
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments to support patient care and therapy readiness
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in all interactions
