Below, you’ll find other important information about this position. $ Sign-On Bonus Eligible $ Provides technical assistance in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing sterile and aseptic technique. Acquires all imaging and post processing. Provides emergency services on call.

  • Monitors and interprets Hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Observes sterile technique while assembling supplies necessary for physicians and other lab personnel involved to scrub and enter the lab without infraction 100% of the time.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of the patient and unit information, without infraction, as monitored by supervision.
  • Prepares entry site applicable to the procedure using sterile technique.
  • Continuously monitors patient’s ECG and blood pressure while documenting and advising the physician of any and all activity in an accurate and timely manner and providing documentation that will become part of the patient’s permanent record.
  • Participates in the on-call rotation of the laboratory and remains available for emergent procedures 24 hours a day.
  • Acts as the laboratory’s code team by initiating resuscitative measures and cardiac defibrillators under the direct supervision of the physician in charge.
  • Correctly documents all procedures performed and utilizes the inventory control system that is established. Correctly bills for all procedures.
  • Participates in educational and in-service opportunities.
  • Instructs radiography students in the clinical setting with regard to patient positioning, technique selection, manipulation of equipment and the use of accessory devices to obtain Radiographic images.
  • Maintains specialization in Neuroradiology and Vascular IR procedures.
  • Participates in Inventory Management of the department.
  • Checks and prepares patient prior to procedure.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography for West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland locations.
  • Radiologist Technologist through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners, or applicable state where services will be performed.
  • Obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire for West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland locations.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography for Pennsylvania locations.
  • Obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire for Pennsylvania locations.
  • Obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS) within one year of hire.
