About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Neuro ICU RN to join our critical care team in Ocala, FL. This 10-bed Neuro ICU provides advanced, specialized care for patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions in a Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about high-acuity neuroscience care who want to expand their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Florida or Compact state (Compact license holders must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation).
• At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years); higher acuity than Med-Surg preferred, strong Med-Surg candidates considered.
• ADN or Diploma in Nursing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Neuro ICU or critical care experience.
• BSN degree.
• CCRN (Adult) or TNCC within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care for patients with critical neurological conditions.
• Perform frequent assessments, monitor intracranial pressure, and manage drips/vents.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams to drive safe outcomes.
• Administer medications and educate patients/families about care plans and recovery pathways.
• Support evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement, and patient safety standards.
