Requirements

• BLS Provider certification accredited by the American Heart Association is required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license is required prior to hire.
• Hospital experience is preferred.

• Certification in specialty areas related to neurology or neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to neurology and neurosurgical patients in a critical care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.
• Participate in the Nurse Residency program for new graduates.
