About The Position
PRN Advanced Practice Provider Neurohospitalist Piedmont Columbus Regional Piedmont is recruiting for an APP to join our Neurohospitalist program at Piedmont Columbus Regioanl . This is a PRN 7-on-7-off position with no call responsibilities. You will work alongside physicians providing care to general neurology and stroke patients in an inpatient setting. In this role you will: Follow-up with current general neurology and stroke patients. Triage new patients prior to being seen by doctor. Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patients medical record. Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care. Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings. Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications. Requirements
- Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
