About The Position

The Neuro Endovascular Radiology Technician plays a crucial role in assisting with procedures that analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system. This position involves preparing patients for procedures, monitoring their condition, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment in a high-quality healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Certified Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI, Radiologic Technologist credentialed from Florida Radiologic Technology, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from ARRT, or Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from ARDMS, all obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • Advanced Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.
  • Interpret, describe and report test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts, and reacting appropriately.
  • Monitor patients prior to, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in the patient's condition.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area.
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
