About The Position

The Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who practices independently and collaboratively within a high-acuity Neuro-Critical Care Unit. This role provides comprehensive care to critically ill and medically complex neurologic patients while working closely with a highly specialized, multidisciplinary team. This role is well-suited for experienced ICU APPs looking to transition into Neurocritical Care. Our Neuro Intensive Care Unit is supported by dedicated fellowship-trained neurointensivists, 24/7 EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, and close collaboration with neurosurgery and neuro-interventional teams, allowing APPs to practice at the top of their license in a true subspecialty environment. APPs are encouraged to grow into the neuro specialty while practicing with a high level of autonomy and reliable physician backup.
