We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License in the state of NJ
• Current CPR certification
• Passion for working with a neurologically impaired young adult population
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of occupational therapists
• Assist patients in performance of community reintegration, self-care, fine and gross motor skills, social skills, ADL's, IADL's, and leisure skills under the direct supervision of the occupational therapists
• Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Support and educate residents, families, and caregivers on progress towards goals
