About The Position

We are hiring a Neuro Cardiac Stroke RN in Deltona, FL. This 27-bed unit manages a diverse mix of telemetry, neuro, and post-cardiac event patients, with a strong focus on stroke care and recovery. Requirements

• Active Florida or Compact RN license.
• 1+ year acute care Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS within 30 days of hire.
• ADN or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for stroke, cardiac, and telemetry patients requiring frequent assessments.
• Administer medications and therapies in line with physician orders.
• Perform NIH Stroke Scale assessments and document care thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery.
• Support hospital initiatives for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
