About The Position

In this vital role of Neural Nexus – AI Data Enablement (AuRA), Associate Director, you will be responsible for owning and delivering the workstreams for AI-enabled data foundations that power Neural Nexus across Amgen’s commercial and analytics ecosystem. This role focuses on the full execution lifecycle of the workstreams under AuRA (design, development, implementation, rollout, and training) ensuring solutions are deployed on time, on scope, and with measurable business value. In addition to strong program management, this role is accountable for data stewardship across Neural Nexus AI Data Enablement, ensuring that data assets adhere to FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and align to Amgen’s Clean Core and enterprise data strategy. This includes establishing clear data ownership, stewardship practices, and quality standards to ensure AI-ready data is trusted, reusable, and sustainable at scale. This role requires exceptionally strong project and program management capabilities. You are accountable for the end-to-end planning, execution, and implementation of all AI Data Enablement workstreams under AuRA, ensuring delivery across teams, functions, and technologies. It is a data enablement leadership role focused on building scalable, governed, AI-ready data products—and driving execution rigor across multiple concurrent initiatives so that Neural Nexus platforms and AI solutions can move fast with trust. You will partner closely with Commercial Analytics, CD&A, AI&D, Tech and Engineering teams, serving as the point of accountability for AuRA delivery outcomes. This is a hands-on delivery role where attention to execution detail, tactical coordination, and dedicated mentality will be critical for success. This role is ideal for a seasoned data enablement or analytics leader with strong program management expertise and cross-functional execution experience, who thrives on driving complex initiatives from concept through implementation. Flexible Commuter role in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will work on-site a minimum of 2-3 days a week.
