MSU Denver is seeking a Network Wireless Engineer with minimum experience and background in managing wireless network equipment, which include installing, configuring, and maintaining wireless settings. Reporting to the Network Manager, the Network Wireless Engineer will leverage technical expertise, customer service, and strong organizational skills to support network operations for students, administrative staff, and faculty. The position will require some knowledge about Wi-Fi standards and best practices. As a network engineer, you will work within the network organization and be required to have an understanding, and some hands-on experience with components of the networking environment, such as LANs/WAN, network security, and network switches. You will provide assistance in the support of the University's wired network, Domain Name Servers (DNS), and IP management. The incumbent will work with more experienced network engineers on the team to help maintain and troubleshoot network and wireless issues.
