About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Unified Communications Design Engineer to support engineering operations at Camp Lejeune. This position will assist the Government Lead in daily engineering duties and provide advanced design, integration, and operational support across classified, unclassified, and coalition network environments. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in LAN/BAN/WAN administration, VoIP architecture, identity and access management, and multi-vendor network solutions within DoD environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in network engineering and unified communications
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • IAT Level III Certification

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government Lead in daily systems engineering and network operations.
  • Perform general administration of LAN, BAN, and WAN environments, including scheduling conversions and cutovers.
  • Evaluate, design, and troubleshoot communication hardware and software solutions.
  • Architect, design, deploy, and maintain multi-level network architectures across classified, unclassified, and coalition networks supporting voice, video, and mobility solutions.
  • Engineer and support Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services, including design and integration of: VoIP servers Switches and routers Extension Mobility Unified Messaging Emergency Responder Call Center operations within a Service Desk environment
  • Design VoIP services with Layer 3 switching capabilities and updated TACLANE configurations to support USMC and DISA VoSIP integration and transition.
  • Configure and manage auxiliary voice VLANs, PSTN interfaces, fax modules, and other voice system components.
  • Manage hardware, software, network infrastructure, and scheduling required for secure videoconferencing across DON, DoD, Federal, and Commercial networks.
  • Integrate Active Directory (AD) and Windows LDAP services for network devices and appliances.
  • Perform Rights Management Services for administrators, users, and groups.
  • Design, develop, and operate networking ports, protocols, IA controls, routing, and LAN integration.
  • Integrate PKI certificates and network accounts to support two-factor authentication and eliminate password-based authentication.
  • Develop customized multi-vendor network solutions utilizing Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and related technologies.
  • Develop, update, track, and manage IP addressing schemes and network configurations.
