About The Position

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company , is seeking a Network Technician to join our Information Technology team. The Network Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware, cabling, and connectivity across the organization. This role ensures the stability and integrity of wired and wireless network services through proactive monitoring, preventative maintenance, and effective problem resolution to support company operations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in network support or infrastructure maintenance required.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux networking, and Active Directory integration required.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, and VLAN configuration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex connectivity issues.
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work in network closets or data center environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and cabling.
  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose connectivity, performance, and hardware issues.
  • Support local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Wi-Fi infrastructure to maintain optimal system uptime.
  • Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing network security standards, access control policies, and data protection measures.
  • Support network upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration changes in collaboration with IT leadership.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, layouts, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with IT System Administration and Helpdesk teams to resolve escalated technical issues efficiently.
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and on-call rotations as required.
  • Maintain accurate asset records for all network-related hardware and components.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
