Requirements

• Experience with wireless LAN solutions (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Aruba).
• Experience with network access control systems (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass).
• Familiarity with Cisco and HP networking equipment.
• Knowledge of cabling standards (Cat 5 and Cat 6).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Skype and Teams phone systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel between district schools and facilities for installation and maintenance of networking equipment.
• Participate in projects such as new construction and renovation.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and configuration failures of LAN and wireless networking equipment.
• Conduct site surveys for users requiring adds, moves, and changes.
• Install, configure, and maintain switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Support data moves and check equipment for proper operation and connectivity.
• Diagnose network problems using network traffic analysis equipment.
• Assist users with data and voice communications.
• Document network installations and configurations.
• Maintain network uptime and reliability to meet a 99.99% reliability standard.
• Provide on-call support and emergency off-hours network support.
• Monitor telecommunications and WAN environment.
