The position serves as the single point of contact for all engineering and design issues, directing all aspects of engineering and design concerns for the service. The role involves managing and overseeing the restoration of services and responding to State requests 24/7. Participation in various MFN-3 workgroups is expected, along with supporting business development by contributing to new opportunities and solutioning efforts. The individual will act as a subject matter expert in Managed Network Services, researching and staying current on emerging technologies and products. Responsibilities also include architecting workplace services solutions to meet client RFP/RFI requirements, ensuring client solutions are designed to achieve expected functionality and quality, and promoting capabilities and offerings to internal groups, partners, and clients. The role requires analyzing opportunities and gathering inputs for capability development, facilitating collaboration among sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams, blending technology and business strategy to develop compelling solutions, building cost models, and supporting benchmarking efforts. Establishing accurate costing and pricing techniques, maintaining architecture standards and supporting processes, defining and validating new features for solution development, enabling automated sales and solutioning methodologies, and coaching and mentoring solution architects and sales teams are also key responsibilities.
