About The Position
The position involves supervising the Police Department's IT Help Desk and ensuring prompt resolution of service tickets from a base of 2200 users. The role includes consulting with users regarding IT hardware needs, overseeing user account management, supervising staff who support/maintain the platform for on-prem software applications, and managing projects related to network infrastructure. Additionally, the position requires overseeing the creation and enforcement of network security policies, monitoring security alerts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role also involves developing technical documents and presenting briefings to senior management.
