About The Position

Whiteboard Federal is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide mission-critical support to our customers. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and system engineering personnel to document, coordinate, and communicate releases. Primary Responsibilities: Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures. Experience maintaining cloud/on-prem hybrid architectures. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Configure and manage operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows). Experience managing security and policies. Troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Perform moderately complex network designs using existing technology. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes-based scalable architectures.

Requirements

• A Bachelor or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated professional experience in supporting IT environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience using scripting for task automation, data transfer, etc.
• Monitor application and operating system performance; analyze, document and remediate incidents.
• Clearance (Required): TS/SCI+

Nice To Haves

• Experience transitioning to a cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
