We are seeking a Network & Systems Engineer I to support our IT team. This role oversees global network architecture across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including the design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi, and WAN services. Responsibilities include troubleshooting network issues, securing enterprise systems, configuring services (DHCP, RADIUS, VPN), and administering monitoring tools to ensure performance, security, and operational efficiency.

  • Design, implement, and configure network switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi systems, and WAN services to ensure efficient and secure connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Maintain network diagrams, documentation, and configuration records for easy reference and compliance.
  • Configure, implement, and manage essential network services, including Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS), and Virtual Private Network (VPN) to ensure secure and efficient user access.
  • Monitor and optimize network service performance, resolving any service disruptions promptly.
  • Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with best practices for secure authentication and remote access.
  • Network performance issues, security threats, and system failures.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to generate reports, analyze trends, and make data-driven recommendations for network improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system-wide network health and troubleshoot system-wide performance issues.
  • Assist in the implementation of firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security patches to safeguard network infrastructure.
  • Ensure network policies and configurations align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational security protocols.
  • Conduct periodic network audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements.
  • Work closely with other IT professionals to support server, storage, and cloud-based environments that interact with the network.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, assisting with network-related issues and training where necessary.
  • Document technical procedures, network changes, and troubleshooting guides for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Implement, configure, and administer network monitoring systems to proactively detect, analyze, and respond to
  • Infrastructure tasks like enforcing and monitoring security standards & implementing and administering the SIEM system
  • 3 years plus experience in a network engineering role or similar
  • Experience in network administration (CCNA, CCNP preferred)
  • Experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or completed an education as an IT Specialist for network / system administration
  • 5 years plus experience in a network engineering role or similar
