About The Position

Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking an experienced Network and System Engineer (CyberArk) to support our customer onsite in Washington, D.C. This role focuses on securing privileged access across enterprise systems by deploying and managing CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions while integrating with network security infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in network and system engineering, with a focus on cybersecurity and privileged access management.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing CyberArk PAS solutions (Vault, PVWA, CPM, PSM).
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, identity and access management, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining PAM environments in a production setting.
  • Ability to support security investigations and provide technical briefings to stakeholders.
  • Proof of one of the following certifications: CyberArk Defender Certification, CyberArk Sentry Certification, CyberArk Guardian
  • Proof of one of the following: Certification, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC)
  • Active TS/SCI

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain CyberArk Privileged Access Security (PAS) components, including Vault, PVWA, CPM, and PSM.
  • Manage privileged accounts, credentials, and access policies to ensure secure authentication and authorization across systems and applications.
  • Perform system monitoring, audits, and health checks to ensure optimal performance and compliance with security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CyberArk components such as Central Policy Manager (CPM) and Privileged Session Manager (PSM).
  • Integrate CyberArk solutions with enterprise infrastructure, including VPNs, firewalls, and remote access solutions (e.g., HTML5 Gateway).
  • Conduct network and system security analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support incident response activities related to privileged access and credential security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure system design and implementation.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and provide mentorship to junior engineers and analysts.
