Salary is negotiable based upon experience.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Comptia A+ or Network+ or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office and OS knowledge.
  • General Networking knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong business ethics, and ability to maintain the confidentiality of information handled.
  • Quick learner and team player.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to interact with internal staff members.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Must be open to work weekend shifts and holidays as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for remote support.
  • Able to climb a ladder and lift 50 lbs or more.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate user problems, identify sources, determine possible solutions, and test and implement solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, support, and maintain all versions of Windows OS, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems, network switches, server and storage hardware, printers, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
  • Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
  • Manage system maintenance and upgrades while working with the team.
  • Create documentation and adhere to corporate policies, Illinois Gaming Board Policies, and PCI policies as it falls within your work duties.
  • Collaborate with co-workers, peers, and vendors/partners.
