About The Position
Provides Tier-0/Tier-1 network troubleshooting, cabling, monitoring, and configuration support at MTF locations in alignment with DHA standards and processes. Performs site-level troubleshooting, problem resolution, cable testing, device configuration changes, VLAN operations, and wireless support; documents activity accurately in DHA’s ITSM.
Requirements
- LAN/WAN troubleshooting using SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible.
- OSI-layer fault isolation and packet-level analysis.
- Cable termination, drop certification, and OTDR testing.
- Edge switch, wireless access point, and serial communications support.
- Accurate ticket documentation and time tracking per enterprise standards.
- DoD 8140 – Network Operations Specialist (Intermediate level)
- Security+
- CCNA or equivalent
- Bachelor’s and 2 years; OR technical school and 3 years directly related experience.
- SECRET Clearance
