Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior IT Technician who is responsible for providing advanced technical support for both on-site and remote internal corporate customers. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex computer hardware, software, and peripheral issues. The Senior IT Technician should possess strong technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution to non-technical customers, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, and contributing to continuous improvement of IT support processes and standards. This position is based in Ontario, California. Onsite presence is required five (5) days per week at the office location.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position required
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills required
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, data management and remote control required
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products required
  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant field required

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) preferred
  • Knowledge supporting Mac equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Configure and deploy computers and necessary peripheral devices to on-prem and remote customers
  • Install and configure enterprise software platforms (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.) in accordance with company standards and specifications
  • Perform troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Record issues and their resolutions in the help desk system
  • Perform root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues
  • Identify opportunities for implementing automation to replace manual tasks
  • Create and maintain standard work and knowledge base articles
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies
  • Provide training and guidance to customers on how to operate software and computer equipment
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance to minimize disruption to customers
  • Perform other IT related functions as directed by management
