Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing)
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly

Nice To Haves

Coursework in cybersecurity or network security
Exposure to security tools or labs
Familiarity with scripting or automation basics
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
Interest in compliance or regulated environments

Responsibilities

Assist with monitoring network traffic and security alerts using security tools and dashboards
Support vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking
Help review firewall rules, access controls, and network configurations
Participate in incident response documentation and basic investigation tasks
Assist in maintaining cybersecurity documentation and compliance records
Support endpoint security and patch management activities
Help identify and report potential network risks or anomalies
Participate in security audits, assessments, and improvement initiatives
Collaborate with IT staff to implement secure network practices
Document processes and contribute to cybersecurity awareness efforts
