About The Position

Do you want to design, build, and automate next-generation cybersecurity products and services using the latest technologies? Are you confident at iteratively refining network perimeter security and automation requirements to strengthen our security posture while removing any ambiguity?
We're looking for a Network Security Engineer to:
• design, develop, and improve the technology services that will protect our network and applications and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, andpliance of our solutions by ing our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• see that proper controls and procedures are implemented at all levels while ensuring that our servicesply with required certifications and governance policies
• a broad range of software engineering and automation practices, from analyzing our cybersecurity needs and developing new features to automate testing, deployment, reporting, and analytics
• design, develop and maintain Cyber Security AI tooling and data products
• provide technical expertise and rmendations in assessing new network security technologies to support and enhance our existing suite of services and build DevOps pipelines to streamline deployments
• integrate observability into our solutions, monitor product health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
You'll be working in the Network and Application Protection team focusing on the delivery of technology services and solutions for detecting and preventing cyber threats. We are a global team aligned under the GOTO Technology Information Security Office, dedicated to implementing and expanding network perimeter and API security solutions for our bank. This role is critical for ensuring our services are effectively implemented inpliance with regulatory and internal policies and enhanced consistently to maximize their ROI.

Requirements

• proven experience as a network security engineer, with a focus on Web Application Firewall (WAF, WAAP), Secure Service Edge and proficiency in GitLab, Python, Unix, and Bash, excellentmand of a programming language is a must
• strong understanding of network security principles and best practices in the context of ZTNA and experience in designing and implementing security solutions in aplex, global environment
• experience with Azure cloud environments, including Native Security Tooling, like defender, sentinel, firewall etc., Managed identities, Logging solutions, Networking products, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Serverless solutions such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps
• experience in developing architecture documents for enterprise security solutions and experience with test automation, including the use of test frameworks such as pytest, Selenium, or JUnit
• experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and edge-based security solutions like SSE
• experience in AI Prompt engineering and development of agentic AI concepts
• ability to develop well-structured and clear documentation and work closely with QA teams
• ability to work collaboratively in a team andmunicate effectively with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
