Requirements

  • Experience in large enterprise network security environments with 10+ years in a network security architecture lead role.
  • Strong experience in managing networking security technologies in network LAN and WAN environments, experience in cybersecurity, including compliance and risk management.
  • Experience in securing public and private cloud network environments.
  • Design, implement, and operate Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) solutions to protect business-critical applications
  • Architect and implement Microsegmentation strategies to reduce lateral movement and enforce least-privilege access
  • Design and manage ZTNA solutions, enabling secure, identity-aware access to applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of security controls and technologies, such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Identity and Access Management (IAM), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), public key.
  • Strong networking, architectural and technical experience with global data centers.
  • Experience with SDN, SD-WAN products and services, Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.
  • Experience in firewall design and in network security including: Device Hardening, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, and IPSec, vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection.
  • Strong experience in devices like Juniper, Fortigate and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Expertise in configurations of rules, routing, Natting, policies and profiles in Firewalls.
  • Plan, implement and documented changes of services including hardware replacement and enhancements.
  • Establish and maintain IPSec-based connectivity with external vendors
  • Good experience in migrating the VPN's from legacy to new next generation firewalls
  • Experience in design and deployment of forward and reverse proxies
  • Experience managing Datacenter network technologies such as Aruba, Arista, Juniper, 3com switches, and routers, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, WAN optimization tools, load balancers, and DLP, IDS/IPS and UTM and other network devices.
  • Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.
  • IPv4 and IPv6 experience is must and Strong understanding of network infrastructure, IP addressing, IP traffic management, DNS/DHCP, NTP, Security and Network Monitoring tools
  • Experience on F5 GTM / LTM, SSH, VPN, Internet Proxy, IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS.
  • Experience with Routing, Quality of Service, Netflow, Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, virtual networks, NAT, ACL controls, Web Security/URL Filtering, IPSec, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Malware Prevention
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10 years of experience in network security architecture, design, engineering and implementation in global networks

Responsibilities

  • Translate high-level business strategic objectives and goals into Enterprise IT requirements and conceptual designs.
  • Develop and support comprehensive solutions that meet requirements and integrate into the overall HPE global network security strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year strategic network infrastructure plan to include a long-term vision, technology roadmaps, goals and objectives
  • Lead and develop end-to-end technical network and security architecture for projects that span across multiple business groups for secure, high-performing, fault-tolerant and operationally resilient global network and systems.
  • Participate in IT network security project design, reviews and ensure network security requirements are met.
  • Analyze the business requirements for HPE global internal customers to design and implement network security for HPE Data Centers, campus builds and determine needs to secure network.
  • Provide on-going technology risk reporting and monitoring identifying key trends and metrics to regularly measure control effectiveness
  • Perform security audits as needed including working with external vendors to perform security audits
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging security threats to continuously update security policies.
  • Support and collaborate on the development, implementation and administration of policies, processes and procedures to ensure the reliability, recoverability, and optimum performance of Enterprise network security infrastructure systems and solutions and to ensure data integrity, change protocols, customization, usage etc.
  • Well versed in cloud architectures, software defined networking, data center switching technologies, and securing virtual environments (AWS, Azure, Google desired)
  • Collaborates with HPE Cyber Security and Client Services toward compliance and auditing
  • Ability to maintain and foster sensitivity and respect for a culturally diverse work environment.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the tie between vulnerability risk management and the strategy and goals of the greater organization
  • Manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to correlate and analyze security data.
  • Work with senior management, and other peers for strategy development and execution planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated confidence with the ability to present and have customer facing conversations
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, if needed.
  • Implements security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.
  • Experience working in ITIL Framework.
