About The Position

Network Security Analyst - State Government project Position- Contract - Onsite - Austin, TX - No relocation and candidate must be in Austin

Requirements

• 3 years of Evaluate and review existing DSHS Cybersecurity tools and controls to determine gaps, provide recommendations, and implement risk reduction plans for the DSHS organization.
• 3 years of Design, prepare, and present supporting documentation, including project plans, status reports, briefings, presentations, and internal/external stakeholder communication materials
• 3 years of Conduct research, interviews, meetings, and workshops to understand organizational objectives, processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
• 3 years of Interact extensively with internal and external stakeholders, business partners, and third parties to identify, analyze, and resolve complex security issues or gaps
• 3 years of Perform basic project management duties, including creation of project charters, communications and expectations management, risk management, and resource coordination
• 3 years of Edit, manage, and update DSHS technical and security documentation, ensuring clarity, formatting, and cohesiveness, and provide progress reports and briefing materials as required
