About The Position
The purpose of this classification is to develop and implement data security policies and procedures and to install and administer security hardware and software for the County's computer networks. We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to lead proactive threat-hunting initiatives, leveraging advanced security tools to identify and mitigate risks before they escalate. This role will be responsible for conducting both internal and external penetration testing, performing complex network diagnostics related to firewall configurations, and collaborating with teams to strengthen defenses through engaging purple team exercises. Ideal candidates will have a strategic mindset and hands-on expertise in detecting, analyzing, and responding to emerging cyber threats.
