About The Position

CACI is seeking a Network/SATCOM Technician to support our government program. Qualified candidates will have experience configuring Cisco routers and switches, experience operating and configuring VSAT/Idirect, experience in integration, fielding, production, installation, test, and evaluation, maintenance, and Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) in Department of Defense (DoD) C5ISR systems, subsystems, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance with ability to acquire and maintain Top Secret w/SCI clearance.
  • Technical Training in DoD C5ISR systems to include Satellite Communications Equipment or Networking Equipment.
  • Fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience with Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Must be a recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in C5ISR systems development, logistics support or test & evaluation.
  • Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches.
  • Specialized experience in the design, development, testing, analysis, operation or maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems Deployable Node.
  • Knowledge in HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN and INMARSAT networks, and LAN/WAN.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support 24/7 for all Navy Expeditionary Combatant Command (NECC) Expeditionary Deployed Node (EDN) Family of Systems (FoS).
  • Provide technical support on all equipment and material under the NECC EDN program to all personnel supporting the NECC EDN program.
  • Provide 24/7 on-site and telephonic support for CONUS and OCONUS EDN Terminals.
  • Provide Tier III repairs to systems that are beyond the technical expertise of the organization’s level.
  • Provide installation, operation and maintenance training and troubleshooting to personnel.
  • Conduct bench testing of all components and apply appropriate equipment maintenance to identify system status before shipment and storage.
  • Assist in research and development efforts, as requested, and modification of new and existing systems.
  • Generate and maintain work orders and shipping/return of CONUS equipment requiring maintenance utilizing the Government Database.
  • Provide weekly, and as needed, deliverables depicting support provided to customers.
