The Network Ops Center Analyst (NOC) at Penn Medicine is responsible for the day-to-day resolution of incidents and service requests related to PC and network technical components. This role involves monitoring network performance, resolving network faults, and providing on-call support. The analyst will also assist with client technical issues at various PHCS sites, utilizing advanced technology knowledge and strong communication skills to ensure effective problem resolution.

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware and software issues related to complex network technology.
  • Utilize the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) model to improve department performance and validate improvements.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues on desktops, laptops, and approved corporate software.
  • Provide supplemental phone support for hardware issues.
  • Travel to various PHCS locations for onsite technical support or to assist with IS projects and Desktop/Server Services.
  • Monitor desk fax and email queues, ensuring all requests are responded to or entered into the LAN Desk ticketing system.
  • Strong knowledge of complex network hardware and software technology.
