Who You Are:
We are seeking a talented and driven Network Operations Manager to oversee network and security architecture, design, and auditing processes to meet the set Data Security Standards.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the TabaPay's Operations Team. You’ll lead cross-functional team of Technical Support, QA and Boarding for efficiently deploying new clients into Production System.
What You’ll Do:
Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as network operations.
Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
Whitelisting new IP addresses for production and sandbox environment on AWS EC2 instance, Ngnix web server based on CIDR IP addressing scheme.
Remain abreast of new and existing electrical network hardware equipment and their corresponding software to abide with the industry standards.
Schedule and plan upgrades as and when required. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and customers to secure network products and services.
Manage implementation and optimization diagnostic tools that include FTP, TCP/IP, telnet, ping, trace route for efficient fast data communications.
Install security patches and OS updates to determine server disk usage, free space and address security vulnerabilities within a program.
Investigate and troubleshoot Event Logs and Kernel panics as well as Routers Traffic connectivity/latency issues.
Oversee company's network security policies to adhere with PCI Data security standards and SOC.
Comply with change control procedures to ensure satisfactory conclusion of change requests and accurate entry on wiki.
Share rotational responsibilities with manager for Expert Network On-Call support issues.
Verify and monitor production operations environment (physical data centers and AWS) to ensure continuous uninterrupted services fulfilling business objectives.
Analyze, test and implement a mutually agreed ticketing tools for company.
Generate documentation for WAF, IDS and IPS alerts.
Trimming the Database of older Transactions on AWS Workspaces.
Perform QA local database maintenance by remote SSH into server.
Perform proactive/reactive status updating, escalating for unplanned outages in the network.
Perform internal/external vulnerability scans to adhere with PCI requirement on inbound /outbound DMZs.
Running of CRON jobs for database backups.
Demonstrate good problem-solving skills in response to user/customer or when an automated monitoring system sends alerts.
Report and update status to Chief Technical Officer via email, voice or in person.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
3 years of experience in the job offered or in a network operations-related occupation

Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:
Experience with Qualys for External Vulnerability Scans of systems and Servers in PCI environment;
Experience with security policies like Device backup/Clean Desk/CEUCs;
Utilize experience with generating IBM Connect reports on a CentOS machine to monitor and manage file transfers;
Utilize experience with Let’s Encrypt Certificate Authority (CA) to ensure secure and continuous availability of REST API endpoints, and renew and maintain active SSL/TLS certificates;
Utilize knowledge of Google Authenticator libpam module to implement the Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) algorithms to generate 2FA codes leveraging cryptographic algorithms to generate secure codes;
Utilize knowledge of OCTAVE and NIST Methodology to conduct quarterly disaster recovery and business continuity, risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks that could impact critical financial operations;
Utilize experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) Nginx Server, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) - Suricata logs to assess and enhance security posture;
Utilize experience with server logs on DMZ, API, Proxy Server to troubleshoot connectivity to ensure efficient and uninterrupted communications.
The base pay for this position is $255,445-$265,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This position is located in our Palo Alto, CA HQ.
