About The Position

The Network Integration Architect plays a critical role in supporting the sales and implementation of medical capital equipment by designing, validating, and integrating complex networked imaging systems within healthcare environments. This role bridges technical expertise with customer engagement to ensure seamless deployment of solutions that meet clinical, operational, and IT requirements. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning with hospital IT infrastructures, the Network Integration Architect contributes to improved patient care through advanced imaging solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field?
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare IT, imaging systems, medical device integration, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and hospital IT environments.
  • Familiarity with imaging modalities and enterprise imaging platforms.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and to prepare and deliver presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required (estimated 60-75%).

  • Experience working with endoscopy, surgery, and radiology departments and clinical workflows.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and secure network architectures for imaging systems (e.g., PACS, modalities, workstations).
  • Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards (e.g., DICOM, HL7, IHE, HIPAA).
  • Participate in customer meetings to assess infrastructure readiness and integration needs.
  • Provide technical input for RFPs, RFIs, and tender responses.
  • Complete customer security questionnaires and address follow-up inquiries.
  • Lead network assessments and site readiness evaluations.
  • Work with hospital IT teams to configure VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and secure data flows.
  • Support installation and validation of imaging systems and interfaces.
  • Create detailed network diagrams, integration plans, and configuration documentation.
  • Ensure solutions meet cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with Marketing, R&D, Cybersecurity, TAC, Sales Operations, and ICS teams to ensure alignment on solution delivery.
  • Provide feedback to product development and sales teams based on field experience and customer intelligence.
