The Network Engineering Lead is responsible for driving innovation within government-approved program solutions, services, and operations. This role focuses on designing and optimizing enterprise infrastructure across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environgments. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives in experimentation, prototyping, concept development, and systems integration to ensure highly available, scalable, and efficient service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent work experience
  • 8 years experience in network engineering
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and infrastructure architecture
  • Proven expertise in enterprise architecture priciples, standards, and governance
  • Must have an active Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Relevent certifications such as CISSP and PMP
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and emerging technologies
  • Experience with automation tools, cloud platforms, and network security best practicies
  • Ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor team members

Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure engineering design and enforce enterprise architecture standards and governance
  • Develope and maintain infrastrucutre architecgture for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Drive innovation through experimentation, prototyping, and concept development
  • Oversee planning, systems design, integration, testing, automation, and service support activities
  • Continuously assess and optimize enterprise infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements
