About The Position

The Network Engineer at Kratos is responsible for creating, managing, and sustaining mission systems networks and network support environments. This role involves developing network communication solutions, configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, and implementing automation strategies. The position requires collaboration with technical team members across various organizations to ensure effective network solutions are delivered.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Engineering/Science discipline or equivalent experience.
• Currently possess an active Top Secret clearance.
• 5+ years' experience in network solutions design and integration.
• Strong network programming skills in Juniper and Cisco switches, firewalls, and routers.
• Experience with automation tools and strategies including Ansible.
• Demonstrated ability to understand enterprise-level networks.
• Comfortable configuring networks to include IP schemes and basic troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and drive projects to closure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams.

Nice To Haves

• 6 years of network configuration experience.

• Familiarity with structured cabling.
