Responsibilities

  • Implement and support enterprise network solutions across on premises, hybrid, cloud, and OT environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, resilience, and secure connectivity
  • Provide advanced L3 network support, including complex incident handling, deep dive troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA) within agreed SLAs
  • Design, configure, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and cloud networking components such as VPCs/VNets, subnets, gateways, and private connectivity
  • Implement and enforce network security standards, policies, and compliance requirements in collaboration with security and governance teams
  • Replace legacy serial RTUs with modern IP based RTUs and establish reliable network connectivity across substations, remote field locations, and OT environments
  • Install, configure, and support network and communication equipment in existing and newly constructed substations
  • Plan, review, and execute network change activities following ITIL/change management processes, including impact analysis, rollback planning, and post implementation validation
  • Monitor and optimize network performance using enterprise monitoring tools, while coordinating with IT/OT teams, cloud providers, OEMs, and vendors for incident resolution and continuous improvement
