About The Position

TD SYNNEX is hiring an experienced Network Engineer to architect, deploy, and support robust data, voice, and wireless networking solutions across multi–site environments. You’ll own enterprise wireless designs, FortiGate firewall architectures, Cisco campus networks, and SD-WAN implementations that ensure reliable connectivity for global applications and contact center platforms. By collaborating with IT, Security, and Infrastructure teams, you’ll drive performance optimization, business continuity, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with Network Engineering or Related Field of Study preferred.
  • Enterprise Wireless: Catalyst 9800/AireOS controllers, CAPWAP APs, RF planning, WPA2/3 Enterprise, 802.1X, RADIUS/ISE
  • FortiGate & SD-WAN: FortiOS, NAT, IPSec/SSL VPN, UTM, VDOMs, FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, SD-WAN design, traffic steering, ADVPN
  • Cisco Switching & Routing: Catalyst/Nexus, VLAN, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, policy-based routing
  • Network Automation & Monitoring: EEM scripting, NetFlow, NDFC, packet captures, controller logs
  • SAN & Video: Storage Area Networks, video conferencing for Board meetings
  • Contact Center Technologies: Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE)

Responsibilities

  • Designs, configures, and implements network solutions to support changes to teams, offices and applications, and to incorporate new features to optimize services. Solution components may include departmental switches, enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, wireless solutions, and other network technologies. (55%)
  • Provides full operational support for regional network services that provide customer access to revenue-generating applications and colleague access to systems used to run the company and support customers, with limited assistance from more senior engineers in mission critical and/or highly complex situations. (30%)
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation, asset inventories and configuration information. (10%)
  • Analyzes vendor invoices for accuracy, maintains inventory and orders equipment (5%)
