Join our Corp IT team as a Network Engineer! You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-wide networking infrastructure and the unique challenges of global connectivity. From Cisco devices to SD-WAN solutions (with a focus on Cato Networks) you’ll be at the center of ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable network performance across multiple international sites and cloud platforms. This is a hybrid role based in either our Harborside office in Jersey City, New Jersey, or our Santa Ana office in California. The position may require up to 20% travel to other sites.

  • Network Operations & Maintenance Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless components across regional and international locations.
  • Administer and optimize SD-WAN deployments, with preference for experience on Cato Networks or similar platforms.
  • Monitor network health and performance across WAN/LAN, identifying and resolving outages and bottlenecks quickly.
  • Collaborate with global teams to support 24/7 critical network operations.
  • Design, implement and operation of AWS networking and cloud connectivity.
  • Implementation & Projects Participate in the deployment, migration, and upgrade of network systems, incorporating global best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Roll out new sites or remote branches, coordinating SD-WAN provisioning and Cisco device configuration.
  • Support integration projects involving cloud connectivity, VPNs, and hybrid network topologies.
  • Troubleshooting & Escalation Provide tier 2/3 support for network incidents, escalating advanced issues as needed.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and logs (Wireshark, Cisco CLI, Meraki, Cato Management Portal, etc.) to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all network issues, changes, and solutions.
  • Security & Compliance Implement and enforce network access controls, segmentation, and monitoring as per company standards.
  • Participate in audits and risk assessments for global network infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and security policies, including those specific to international operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication Work closely with IT, security, and business stakeholders to align network strategies with organizational goals.
  • Effectively partner with the cyber security teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors (including Cato Networks and Cisco partners) to resolve complex issues and optimize solutions.
  • Document network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures for global reference.
  • 2–4 years’ hands-on experience supporting Cisco, Juniper, Meraki network equipment in multi-site or global environments.
  • 2–4 years of AWS networking experience, including cloud connectivity, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies; direct Cato Networks experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in WAN, LAN, VPN, and network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
  • Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting tools, and cloud networking concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities—able to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work in diverse, cross-cultural teams and across time zones.
  • Self-driven with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Cisco CCNA or higher preferred.
  • Cloud networking certifications desirable.
